Sun and Moon
Two distant lovers sharing the light
(Audio Coming Soon)

The fire that leads by day and sleeps in cloud at night
That rises to sleepy whispers and birdsong
Bids farewell in a radiant cacophony of treetop calls and rustling leaves
Sunset

Every evening without fail
Without wavering—like a faithful watchman who’s more passionate than diligent
That keeps the steady rhythm of life simply because he’s in love with it
Shades of brilliance sweep the sky and bleed their beauty into mountaintops and ocean waves
Over horizon-colors that no paint can replicate, and no master can even come close to cloning
Those whispers—that bring the moon, la Luna, out from her daytime sleep
Rising like the curtain, glorious virtuoso—the prima donna solo performance
Night after night

She radiates magnificence—changing constantly but always consistent
Tides give standing ovations and bow low at her nightingale song
Croaks and chirps applaud the nightly lullabies that accompany her dazzling reflection
She sings to the fire

Both longing for touch and embrace but always the same distance apart—
never to meet face to face
Lovers, content with reflecting and casting again and again
Uplifting the other to thrones of utmost royalty
All to show that fire and reflection both shine the same
